Before I start, I need to say that I'm not American; I am an exiled Cuban living in the Bahamas, and I have a lot of experience with this matter as I've lived in Egypt only a couple of years ago.

I'm sick of the lack of substantial concern regarding the blatent problem that is Iran's "foreign policy". They act arrogantly because they're surrounded by like-minded nations wherein Sharia Law mandates violence against unbelievers of Islam. On a slightly unrelated matter, the violence against Christians in Egypt since the fall of Hosni Mubarak is disgusting, yet no one is doing anything about it, because it's religiously justified.

On that note, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Prime Minister of Iran, is granted the opportunity to spew his hate speech in which he proclaims the falsity of the Holocaust, which he calls a myth, as well as explicitly stating his desire to "wipe Israel off the map". There is controversy regarding the translation of that statement, some saying he meant he wants to wipe Israel's current regime off the map, but is that really better? And anyone who understands the philosophy of Jihad knows he means the former.

This is problematic because Iran continues to definantly expand its military and develope its nuclear infrastructure, all the while going unopposed within it's two-thousand kilometer diameter - other than Israel's opposition, of course. But it isn't just the Middle East, North Africa, China, and Russia that have proven themselves apathetic regarding this matter; the United States (Barack Obama) has put Israel's concerns far behind the concerns of Obama's reelection logistics, encouraging Israel to take severe losses of security through a compromise with Palestine that would heavily favor the latter party.

Of course, as often as a disassociation out of convenience it is out of hatred of the Jewish people that many would-be supporters turn a blind eye to Israel's plights.

I am not a social conservative, but I am a conservative when it comes to protecting the only civilized nation in the Middle East. Ultra-Liberal Barack Obama's USA is not going to lead the charge, so someone else needs to be elected to do so. But even more so, China and Russia need to step up and become far more responsible than they've proven to be thus far, especially China.
